Who We Are and What We Do

The Sherrard Academic Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization that operates independently from the Board of Education of the Sherrard Community Unit #200 School District. The Foundation solicits support from the community to further its mission of promoting excellence in our schools in partnership with the Sherrard School District.

Other news...
Ryan Carlson, alumni of the Sherrard High School Class of 2009, generously donated $10,000 to the Sherrard Academic Foundation in the spring of 2023. $5,000 of the donation will go directly towards our 2023-2024 classroom grants and the other $5,000 will be awarded as students scholarships. This overwhelming donation will significantly increase the impact and outreach the Sherrard Academic Foundation is able to have on our students, teachers, schools, and community.
